What a mind blowing night. It was, for us, a perfect audience and all too soon it was over. So many kind compliments were paid to us at the end of the evening that we had trouble getting through the double doors. Thank you Paula, Steve and all who helped in making Reg's Birthday Party a very special evening that he will surely remember for a very long time

Back in the days when we ventured into Working Men's Clubs, Ockford was one of our favourite Venues. Well, happy memories indeed as tonight was just perfect! The Birthday Boy, Francis, loved everything we did and so did most of his family and friends. It took us back to happier times when people used to come out to enjoy a few pints and listen to good entertainement.

Our first visit to a "Working Mans Club" for a very long time. Memories of all that was bad about entertaining in Working Mans Club's came flooding back tonight. When you specifically ask not to be advertised as "A DISCO" and you get there to see various posters advertising "FLICKERS DISCO" you realise that you have made a bad decision. Luckily the show was soon over and we were able to get out and hopefully the memory will fade in time.

As our regular clients well know, we never do weddings. However we made an exception in the above case due to the Father of the Bridegroom being known to us from the many Masonic functions that we provide entertainment for at various Masonic venues. Both myself and Nikki were so pleased that we did as it was an evening to die for. So many lovely, respectful, people of all ages who had obviously decided that they were going out to have a good time and that's exactly what they did. Thank you Gordon for having the patience to convince me that we were what you required for The Wedding. You were 100 % Correct of course.

Due to the booked entertainment cancelling at the last minute, we received a telephone call and were able to rush to Southwick Park Gold Club and set up and provide the entertainment for what turned out to be a very friendly and fun loving crowd. As always we managed to get a booking on the strength of the quality show that we always put on and so everybody went home satisfied. A big Thanks to Dawn, of Southwick park Golf Club, for telephoning us and giving us the chance to be able to recover what could have been a disastrous evening due to one guy failing to turn up as booked

Bob and Lilians Family and Friends were just such a lovely bunch of people who we had no problem entertaining - A mention also to the staff we met at The Cheshunt Marriot Hotel!! They were so friendly towards us and nothing was too much trouble.

This was a spin off from the many bookings we have done for the "Southampton Ramblers" and so we were a bit apprehensive as to how it would go! We shouldn't have worried - The evening went absolutely brilliantly and we were received with open arms.

As this is one of our regular Bookings, over the years, we have got to know most of our audience. After the meal we had a beautiful young lady get up and sing a few songs. It was obvious to all that she was a fully trained singer as all songs she sang she sang so lovely. It was then our turn and, as always, we took no prisoners.. All too soon the clock on the wall said it was time to finish. It was a truly fantastic night all round and we were sad that it had finished so soon.

Another one of our regular booking and a personal favourite for the both of us. From the minute we walk through the door until we leave the venue we are always treated with utmost respect and so well looked after that it is sad when we eventually arrive home.

All of the people who had kindly supported the chosen charity had come along fully intending to enjoy themselves and enjoy themselves they certainly did. If only all of our audiences could be so responsive life would be pretty well perfect. A rebooking was taken even before we started the show so that endorses yet again what I keep on saying." We're Good"

A very appreciative audience who, just the same as last year, decided to leave the venue 30 minutes before the end of the show!!
It is very disturbing when this happens but quite mind boggling when the organizer then books you for next years function directly
after we finish!! Oh well, as the saying goes - "There's nowt so strange as folk."

A night to remember indeed! Our Favourite Venue plus our favourite Audience can mean only one thing.
An evening that will stay in our minds forever. We had an audience that just could not be faulted and the
whole evening just kept getting better and better. A Mention of Dawns Dress as it seemed to have an
hypnotic effect on Phil the whole evening through.

Special Thanks go to Darren and Dawn and the rest of the team at Southwick Park Golf Club for the way
they always look after us. You are special OK. x x
